Direct Telco, LLC was started in February 2006 to provide direct in-country wholesale voice routes to facilities-based carriers and enterprise customers. Our International termination product offers voice services designed to deliver the highest quality VoIP termination of international phone calls that are certified by Direct Telco on a wholesale basis.

Unlike most communication companies Direct Telco was able to keep costs low, thus funds were spent on improving infrastructure, software, and global investment opportunities. In 2007 Direct Telco created a real estate division named Evolution Energized in Romania, with the purpose of purchasing investment properties and undeveloped land. Today Evolution Energized has multiple properties that it owns and maintains and is in the process of expanding its geographical footprint.

Graphic Design and Marketing was the President’s first passion as he worked as a Creative Director over 3 years, therefore in 2009 Direct Telco launched a video production and design division named Tonangi Media. Tonangi Media offers high quality video recording and post production services. The wholesale voice communications, real estate, and video production divisions create diversity that allows Direct Telco to continue to be profitable by even in the harshest economic times.

Vinod Tonangi is the President & CEO of Direct Telco, LLC and oversees the wholesale voice communication, Direct Telco Communications, the real estate division, Direct Telco Real Estate, and Tonangi Media, a video production and design division.

In 1999 Tonangi created his first company, v-graphics.net, a graphic design company that focused on websites for small and medium sized businesses. As a consultant in conjunction with the Creative Director at Broadvision, Inc., Tonangi worked on gesupply.com, a General Electric project. In addition to design and image production Tonangi was involved in marketing gesupply.com to effectively deliver the technical and marketing information to sell over 400,000 products to a wide range of customers.

Tonangi joined Nobel Ltd. Company in May 2001 as the Creative Director, however within a year he was promoted to the International Project Manager with responsibilities that included researching, building, staffing, and installing remote locations in Bucharest, Romania and Hyderbad, India to create a low-cost operation work force with additional sales and management to create sales locally.

After nearly five years in the telecommunications field Tonangi started Direct Telco, LLC in February 2006 and created a network with direct routes globally as well as an impressive customer base. Direct Telco is extremely cost effective and became profitable within a very short three month period and currently generates $6 million in turnover annually.

In early 2009 Tonangi wanted to diversify the company’s product offerings, yet wanted to create a division that he was passionate about and that is how Tonangi Media was born. The latest division to Direct Telco offers high quality video recording and post production services.
